Username Policy
Your username is your unique identity on Ceynk. This policy outlines the requirements and guidelines for choosing and maintaining your username.
Username Requirements
- Must be unique and not already taken by another user
- Must be between 3-30 characters in length
- Can only contain letters, numbers, and underscores
- Cannot start or end with an underscore
- Must be free from offensive, vulgar, or discriminatory content
- Cannot include trademarked names without proper authorization
- Cannot impersonate other individuals, brands, or organizations
Prohibited Usernames
- Contains hate speech, threats, or harassment
- Infringes on intellectual property rights or trademarks
- Impersonates celebrities, public figures, or brands
- Misleads others about your identity or affiliation
- Contains spam, advertising, or promotional content
- Violates any applicable laws or regulations
Username Visibility and Privacy
- Your username will be publicly visible to all users and visitors
- Your username appears in your public profile URL (ceynk.link/yourname)
- Usernames are searchable and may appear in search engine results
- Your username represents your public identity on Ceynk
Username Changes
- Username changes are not permitted after registration
- Choose your username carefully as it becomes permanent once created
- If you need a different username, you'll need to create a new account
- We cannot transfer content or data between accounts
Username Enforcement and Removal
- Review and approve or reject any username during registration
- Remove or modify usernames that violate this policy at any time
- Suspend or terminate accounts with policy-violating usernames
- Reclaim inactive usernames after an extended period of inactivity
- Transfer usernames in cases of trademark disputes or impersonation
Inactive Username Policy
- Usernames may be reclaimed if the account remains inactive for an extended period
- An account is considered inactive if there has been no login or activity for 2+ years
- We will attempt to notify you via email before reclaiming an inactive username
- Active accounts are never at risk of username reclamation
Reporting Username Violations
- Contact us at hello@ceynk.link with details about the violation
- Include the username in question and the reason for your report
- For trademark or impersonation issues, provide supporting documentation
- We will review all reports and take appropriate action
